The whole beet, including leaves, is mascerated and the juice is evaporated to dryness under high vaccum with infinite care and at near body temperature to retain a maximum of the enzymes, vitamins, and mineral factors. A ton of beets produces less than 20lb. of powder which is then compressed into tablets. Therefore, the nutrients are present at 100 times their amounts in the beet plant, on a weight for weight basis. For nutritional use to supply the trace element content of the entire raw beet.
