Tim Mercer's new album "Casey" was born out of the sudden death of his wife. Mercer met Casey in 2006. They wed in 2009. In 2011 she was in a car accident that she never woke up from. The album began when Casey was in a coma after the crash. The hospital let Tim stay in her room, in her bed. He woke up and found a song had come to him during the night, a song that was a message from her to him.
