What the brand says

Sold as “Saw Palmetto Powder-100% Pure True Ripe Serenoa Repens, Fresh from Florida 60 Grams, 30 Day Supply

There is only one area on Earth Saw Palmetto, Serenoa Repens grows and that's the Southern States with Florida being the most abundant. The majority of products claiming to be Saw Palmetto are in fact either immature, nearly useless green Saw Palmetto berries or another palm altogether. This is why you see so much negative material on the Internet. True Saw Palmetto is costly, so powdered forms can be adulterated with other less expensive materials to create more profitable product. Extracts are extremely expensive to produce so other palm oils are often mixed in to make a profit. Apples and Oranges produce sugars and flavor chemicals when ripening. When green they taste different and bad because no sugar or flavor has been created. If harvested green they are useless, but with these fruits anyone could see the difference before consumption. Due to it being obvious and consumers not having interest, few people will ever see fruit in that condition. Saw Palmetto Berries are no different because the complex chemicals, sugars and oils that make them useful are created within the ripening fruit. We use ONLY fully vine ripe berries in all our Saw Palmetto products. One "00" size capsule will hold about 1/2 gram of powdered Saw Palmetto. Two capsules, taken with a meal, twice a day is the recommended dosage and usually makes a difference within a few days. Some benefits may be experienced within a few hours. Making a tea or boiling the powder is strongly NOT recommended. The Saw Palmetto we offer was legally harvested when ripe in September and October 2019 from wild Florida lands where no pesticides or fertilizers have ever been used. They are cleaned of debris, then washed in fresh water. The berries are then Sun Dried so no exposure to intense heat could threaten to damage or destroy any natural, beneficial chemicals. Before processing, all the berries are examined again to insure the highest possible quality and consistency.
