Our Egyptian Chamomile Powder is milled from the flowers of Matricaria recutita, also known as German Chamomile, grown in Egypt. The pale powder has a mild floral or fruity scent. In the kitchen, the powder mixes directly into foods and pairs with poultry, mild fish, fruit, vanilla, parsley, peppermint, and black pepper. For skincare, it incorporates into soaps, lotions, salves, and lip balms, and can also be tinctured, encapsulated, or blended with carrier oils for massage and aromatherapy. Use caution if you have a known allergy to plants in the ragweed family. Store in an airtight jar in a cool, dark cabinet.
