Chlorella Powder from Monterey Bay Herb Co is pure Auxenochlorella Pyrenoidosa in fine powder form, sourced from China and SQF certified. The powder has a vivid green color and is very “green” tasting but not “fishy” as other algae products, namely spirulina can be. Add chlorella powder to chai, lattes, smoothies, protein shakes, pudding, and baked goods for deep green color. For skin care, combine with bentonite clay to make facial masks or incorporate into handmade cosmetic formulations. Store in an airtight container in a cool, dark, dry place. Large doses and long-term use are not recommended. People with a known sensitivity to spores may experience a reaction. Consult a doctor before use if pregnant, nursing, or taking immunosuppressants.
