White Poplar (Populus Alba) is a tree up to 30-35 m high. The crown is wide, tent-shaped, starting low from the ground. The bark of the trunk and large branches is gray-green, smooth; with the age, the bark becomes dark gray or black. Leaves are ovate-round or ovate-triangular, dense; the top is dark green, shiny, silvery, with pubescence below. White Poplar has a powerful root system extending beyond the projection of the crown, consisting of both deep and above-ground roots.
