Wang Bu Liu Xing, Vaccaria (Vaccaria Hispanica) is an annual herb. The root is thin, branched. The stem is straight, smooth, 20 - 60 cm in height, covered with whole, bluish-green leaves. The petals are purple-pink, rarely white in color. The fruit is a polyspermous capsule, ovoid in shape. Seeds are globular, small-tuberous, dark brown. Flowering period is in June-July, fruiting season is in July-August.
