Shi Chang Pu, Sweetflag (Acorus Tatarinowii) is a graminoid perennial herb with odorous rhizome. Leaves are arranged into two rows. The plant can grow fully or partially submerged, or in very moist soil, but it will usually only flower when at least partially submerged. Flowering time is from May to June and fruit period is from July to August.
