Brahmi (Bacopa Monnieri) can be found in marshy areas throughout India, the plant also grows in China, Nepal, Pakistan, Vietnam, Sri Lanka and Taiwan, Hawaii and other southern US states. Brahmi has thin, creeping, lodging stems. The leaves are olive green, oblong, sessile, located on the shoots opposite to the stem. The flowers of Bacopa Monnieri are small, five or four-petalled, actinomorphic, axillary, white or blue in color.
