It is beleived that Psyllium seeds also reduce cholesterol level in the blood. It also is of great source in cleaning bowels from toxic substances and in treating peptic ulcers. Psyllium helps in reducing excess fat from the body. Psyllium is added to some types of Middle Eastern and Indian Halvas. It can also be added to juices and salads.
