In the years 1991-1994, a total of 741 patients with heart failure were treated in 14 controlled clinical trials. In these studies, Hawthorn extract was given to patients and it was found to be effective. (RP.104) A treatment trial with Hawthorn extract was conducted on 3664 patients with heart disease in 940 doctors' own offices and in the University clinic. It was determined that 1476 patients who received hawthorn extract achieved good status in 8 weeks. Hawthorn extract has no side effects and has positive effects on other organs. At the end of this treatment, it was observed that the patients' symptoms such as weakness, shortness of breath, heart palpitations, edema, increased chest pressure (chest tightness), and forced coughing were improved. (ZP.1.98.22) A.Förster and his team conducted a treatment trial with Hawthorn extract for 8 weeks on 40 patients with heart failure in 1994. As a result of this treatment, it has been found that it improves weakness, fatigue, shortness of breath on exertion , chest tightness and loss of strength. (ZP.1.94.20)
