How can I use my Turmeric Rhizomes? There are literally THOUSANDS of ways that you can take advantage of your fresh turmeric rhizomes. The very simplest way is to scape the outer layer off of them just like you might grate the skin or outer layer off of a carrot. You can then grate them and use the resulting material in a GOLDEN TURMERIC MILK. (We suggest that you google that term for recipes and other information). They will last for months if stored in a cool place, or you can freeze the grated turmeric and use it in your smoothies. NOTE: We suggest that you wear latex gloves while working with turmeric rhizomes. Turmeric was used as a dye for hundreds of years and it will stain your fingers. We will send you some recipes for turmeric when we ship your rhizomes to you.
