Each bag contains 4 oz of organic or wildcrafted moringa leaf powder, grown and harvested in Colombia. It is the dried leaf of Moringa oleifera, the fast growing tree known as the drumstick tree, malunggay in the Philippines and sajna across South Asia, milled into a fine powder. Just the leaf, nothing added. TASTE: green and earthy, somewhere between matcha and spinach. It is strong on its own, so most people blend it into a smoothie or juice. HOW TO USE IT: stir 1 teaspoon into a smoothie, juice or soup. As a drink, add 1 teaspoon to 8 fl oz of hot water, stir well and let it sit 2 to 3 minutes. Stir again before drinking, since the powder settles. HOW MUCH: start with 1 teaspoon a day and adjust to taste. A little is plenty and the flavour is bold.
