Ganoderma lucidum is the Chinese name of Ganoderma lucidum (Mushrooms of the Salmonella family). It is characterized by containing abundant components of β-glucan which is a polysaccharide. It is called precocious red ganoderma carefully selected from among many ganoderma species, which is shaped like a deer's horn, called Kazuna Reishi (rocky leaves).
