Sweet Woodruff (Galium Odoratum) is a perennial plant with a thin creeping underground rhizome. The stem is smooth, tetrahedral, 10-60 cm high. The flowers are small and white. They are collected in the apical inflorescence, consisting of several semi-umbrellas. Corolla is white, funnel-shaped. Fruits are spherical, and covered with hairs. The plant blooms in April - June. The fruiting period begins in July - September.
