We include a small amount of FOS in our formula as a natural food source for probiotics that also assist by inhibiting the growth of harmful bacteria. This combination allows for the formula to work effectively, provide normal bowel movement, and optimal digestion. The probiotics in Mega Probiotic-ND also support healthy colon cell growth, immune function, and optimize intestinal motility. Mega Probiotic-ND is a vegetarian formula. It is gluten free and our Mega Probiotic is made with NON-GMO ingredients. Our vegetarian capsules are a highly stable, easy way to support daily digestive health. Mega-Probiotic-ND is safe for children and adults of all ages. Mega Probiotic-ND includes the following strains: Lactobacillus acidophilus, Lactobacillus casei, Lactobacillus rhamnosus, Streptococcus thermophiles, Bidofacterium lactis, Bidofacterium breve, Bidofacterium bifidum and Bidofacterium longum. Lactobacilli - Support urogenital health as well as helps to produce the lactase enzyme and protect the gut lining from unwanted materials. Streptococcus thermophilus is also a lactic acid producer which lines the gut wall to provide a barrier from unwanted materials, promotes regularity and produces the lactase enzyme. Bifidobacteria (B.lactis, B.breve, B.longum, B.bifidum) are located in the colon and produce lactic and acetic acids, making the gut a very inhospitable place for unwanted materials.
