There are two main compounds in Lion's Mane (Hericium erinaceus) mushrooms known as hericenones and erinacines. Hericenones are found in the fruit body (actual mushroom flesh) and can provide NGF (Nerve Growth factor). Erinacines are found in the mycelium and have greater potential for NGF and cell repair. Together they have shown to promote neurite outgrowth and nerve regeneration in cultured cells and in vivo. Our mushroom extract contains both fruitbody and mycelium extraction for the highest potency in all medicinal compounds. The strength in the extraction is 3 grams of fruitbody and 3 grams of mycelium per every dose (45 drops) making it a very powerful concentrate extraction of Lion's Mane.
